This body of work is entitled 'Pilgrins'.
It was shot in India in 2010 for the Khumb Mela in Haridwar, a religious gathering that takes place every four years and attracts 40 million pilgrims from all around India.
It was shot in b/w slide scala film 35mm and printed lambda on silver kodak paper and aluminium on variable measures from 50x70 cm to 120x90 cm. The full body of the project counts 35 images.
'Pilgrims' try to grasp the sense of migration and individuality that is the common denominator.
During these intese gatherings every individual with its own baggage of experience and story melts in one long single anonymous filmstrip of silouhette marching towards a common belief.
